    We bought a car after having got an RACQ report to tell us what was needed in order to re register it. The mechanical report was pretty good so we bought the parts ourselves then took the car out to Gary Keeston as he is in our local rural area. He said he would not be able to get it done for almost a week as he was going to Brisbane for a couple of days. After 3 weeks we had not heard from him so we phoned him and he told us he had to buy 2 new brake cylinders despite us giving gave him 2 brand new cylinders. I said that I had supplied him with them & he claimed they were faulty. I told him that both could not have been faulty, and I also had a spare one at home, apart from the fact that if any parts were faulty he should have contacted me so that I could have returned them, not just go buying more items and not keep my parts as proof or for me to return them. When I asked for the account he refused to give me an invoice, we have already paid him $700 for the repairs, but he is saying that he wants another $700. I only paid $500 for the car, a 1980 XD Ford Falcon, that the RACQ said was a fair price for the little that needed doing to it. He is still refusing to give me an invoice, and is trying to sell my car, even though I am trying to get legal aid to assist me get my car back.
